WARNING: SPOILERS FOR "JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM"

Moviegoers can now return to the world of high-stakes heists in "Ocean's 8," which tells the story of Debbie Ocean (played by Sandra Bullock and who is the sister of George Clooney's character Danny Ocean) and her all-female crew as they attempt to heist a $150M necklace at the Met Gala in NYC.

In this episode of the podcast, Andy Farnsworth and Ryan Meeks are joined by Geektyrant.com writer Kristian Odland (who is also the "1-Minute Critic" on YouTube) to give their SPOILER-FILLED thoughts of the new movie, which also stars Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, and Awkwafina.

Among the things they discuss: Does being a part of the "Ocean's 11" universe help the movie or hurt it?  Would it be a good heist movie without the ties to the previous films?  And does it rank anywhere among their favorite heist-movies of the past?

Deadpool is back for a sequel to his 2016 hit movie and co-writer and star Ryan Reynolds ups the ante in humor (and 4th wall-breaking, and grossness, and silliness, and surprise cameos...)  This time, the "Merc with a Mouth" is fighting future time-traveler Cable (Josh Brolin--yes the guy who played Thanos!)

In this episode of the podcast, Andy Farnsworth and Ryan Meeks are joined by Geektyrant writer and "1 Minute Critic" Kristian Odland for a spoiler-filled review of Marvel's "Deadpool 2."

"Star Wars" fans are getting their second feature-length movie in less than a year with "Solo: A Star Wars Story." But after a mixed (if passionate) response to "The Last Jedi," how will "Solo" be received, particularly given the replacement of co-directors Phil Lord & Chris Miller with Ron Howard, and a Han Solo that isn't played by Harrison Ford?

In this episode of the podcast, Adam Thomas and Andy Farnsworth give a SPOILER-FREE review of the movie, which tells a tale from the youth of Han Solo (played by Alden Ehrenreich), including how he meets his future co-pilot Chewbacca, his first encounter with Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) and the Millennium Falcon.

Today we are excited to welcome Kristian Odland ( One Minute Critic and writer for Geet Tyrant) to the Fan Effect team. He is going to be a great addition. Check out what he has to say in our introduction interview with him.

It was said in days of yore, "Cobra Kai, never die!" ...and it seems they were right as YouTube Red's new series, "Cobra Kai," picks up the characters and story of the hit movie "The Karate Kid" some 30 years later, giving you a different perspective on events you THOUGHT you knew so well.

In this (audio only) episode of the podcast, Andy Farnsworth and Ryan Meeks hold a SPOILER-FILLED discussion of the 10-episode first season of "Cobra Kai," which they both liked way more than they were expecting.

Join them as they talk about whether or not it's a story that's worth telling, whether the callbacks to the 80's movies--and there were plenty--were appropriate or heavy-handed, if they thought Johnny & Daniel were in a believable place as characters, and what they thought of the new characters introduced.

This episode is also available as video thru iTunes & the Apple Podcasts app, as well as thru the KSL OTT app on Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire.

"Cobra Kai" stars William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence, Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, Xolo Maridueña as Miguel Diaz, Tanner Buchanan as Robby Keane, Mary Mouser as Samantha LaRusso and Courtney Henggeler as Amanda LaRusso.

We first met him in "Captain America: Civil War," and now "Black Panther" arrives in theaters with some record-breaking ticket sales already in hand as the Marvel Cinematic Universe shines a spotlight on the first black superhero to ever appear in a major American comic book.

In this episode, Adam Thomas and Andy Farnsworth tell you what you need to know going into Marvel's "Black Panther," then give a SPOILER-FREE review of the movie, which stars Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman.

Director (and co-writer) Ryan Coogler did not follow the typical Marvel movie formula (lots of explosions, lots of one-liners), instead opting for a more nuanced story that still has gorgeous visuals and trademark Marvel action, and both Adam and Andy feel the movie is a richer experience for it.
